BERSANGKA BAIK

"Kita mesti sentiasa bersangka baik dengan orang, walau pun di dalan hati terasa emosi". Ujar rakanku yang berpangkat doktor dan PhD itu lagi. SElepas dia menceritakan pengalamannya, memang patut pun dirinya beremosi. Wang habis beribu ringgit tapi pulangannya amat dikit . Namun azamya bahawa dia akan terus bersangka baik walaupun dirinya telah dibohongi untuk kesekian kalinya, membuatkan aku tabik spring dengannya! Hatinya benar-benar malaikat. Kalau dibandingkan dengan aku, sekali dibohongi dan dilukai, parutnya kekal begitu lama. Walau pun banyak Vitamin E dah aku telan, tapi parut yang satu itu tetap utuh melekat disitu. Cuma aku harapkan ianya semakin pudar seperti parut chicken pox yang melata di badan…

"Kita walapun kena bersangka baik, tapi sesekali kena bersangka buruk jugak". Ujar seorang insan yang rapat denganku. " Kalau kamu asyik bersangka baik jer dengan orang, orang berniat jahat dengan kamu pun kamu tak tahu. Akhirnya kamu yang teraniaya nanti. Baik berjaga-jaga ". Pulak…. Tapi dari contoh cerita yang diberikan ada juga logiknya. Dari cerita pengalaman rakannya sendiri bila kenalan perempuan suaminya yang selalu ingin menumpang kereta suami untuk ke pejabat. Kerana bersangka baik dan percaya yang Maha Tinggi, pertolongan pun dihulurkan seikhlas hati. Akhirnya suaminya terus ditumpang sekali . Aduh ! Kesian…

Dari moral of the story, bersangka buruk itu ada baik dan buruknya… kalu asyik bersangka buruk, kita akan sentiasa berfikiran negative dan sampai bila pun kerja tidak dapat dilaksanakan pulak. Dalam kehidupan kita digalakkan bersangka baik, cuma harus ada strategi dan berhati-hati dalam setiap perkara dan pekerjaan. Tidak salah jika kita mempercayaai staff kita dan bersangka baik dia akan melaksanakan tugas dengan sempurna dari semua kerja kita yang pulun buat sendiri hanya semata-mata memikirkan dan menganggap staff tersebut tidak dapat melakunya seperti yang kita mahu!

Course Outline Perak Module 2011


 

Course Prescription

International Business is the study all business transactions, private and governmental, that involve two or more countries. It encompasses aspects such as globalisation and the impacts of the global environment on organisations, trade and trade policy, foreign direct investment, strategies of international firms, strategic alliances and exporting, and international management, including cross-cultural and international human resource management.


 

This course will provide students with the conceptual tools necessary to understand and work in a global environment. This will be done in three closely related ways:

  • Analyzing how the international environment for business differs around the world.
  • Examining the policy frameworks for control, and.
  • Developing strategic options to compete in the complex international economy.

Class time will be largely spent in lecture, discussion, case studies and experiential exercises. Students will learn from the theoretical literature, instructor, case studies, videos, research presentations, and from each other. The course materials explain and describe the different aspects, challenges, and stages of International Business simply and clearly.


 

Goals of the Course

This course will examine thechallenges, complexity and changing nature of international business.


 

Learning Outcomes

  1. To develop skills in international business analysis, development and implementation.
  2. To explore competing rationales relating to the nature of international and business.
  3. To critically review the received wisdom on international business practice.
  4. To review strategic decision-making practises in international business.
  5. To further develop the presentation skills required.

Learning and Teaching

As this is a multidisciplinary course it is intended that teaching will integrate and draw on the core competencies of student's previous study at the university.

The course will commence by introducing students to the framework in which strategy for Global business is developed. Students will then examine how strategies for internationalization move down into all the functions of business. This will be achieved classroom discussion, individual assignments, the co-managing of a simulation company and in class tests.

Assessment


 

Students will be required to complete an individual assignment worth 30 % of the final grade; a group report worth 30% of the final grade; participate in developing a ten minute group presentation worth 20% based on the group report and take a test worth 20% of the final grade.

The test will be an essay style open book expected to take 2 hours.

It will require students to demonstrate in integrated answers a mastery of the learning outcomes set.


 

Program and Course Advice

Students are required to critically examine the integrated practise of international business within the Malaysian business environment. It is expected that they will both know the practices of leading organizations and the significant contemporary business leaders of Malaysia.


 

TITIK PERMULAAN

Hari ini bermulalah kelas pertama untuk semester bagi program master. Meaning to say, aku dalam semester akhir, semester penentuan!!Semester yang menentukan samada aku grad atau mengulang. Nauzubillah ! Harap aku dan rakan2 lulus dengan cemerlang huhuu. Masih ingat last kelas semester dulu adalah hujung bulan Mei yang dulu. Lama betul break ! Memang betul2 break. Plan lain jadi lain! Namun Allah itu Maha bijaksana dan adil, waktu break itulah, ibumertuaku sakit dan dan akhirnya masa Raya ke 7 yang lepas akhirnya beliau pergi meninggalkan aku dan anak-anaknya menemui Pencipta untuk buat selama-lamanya. Siapa sangka dulu hujung minggu senang nak tinggalkan anak2 dengan opah mereka setiap kali aku ada kelas. Almaklum suami pun sibuk mengalahkan orang ambik master juga, ada jer halnya, kalu tak outstation, meeting atau kursus paling tidak pun golf! Huhuhu Namun kini tidak lagi, suami kena la ambik alih semua tugas arwah maknya dulu iaitu jaga anak-anak tatkala bininya ada kelas. Dulu bolehlah sikit2 nak hantor kat mak dia jer…
So today adalah titik permulaan untuk semester yang baru. Bila mak dah tak ada, sebenarnya separuh sokongan dan jiwa ku turut hilang. Selama hari ini memang mak yang jaga anak-anak aku, setiap kali aku ada kelas. Malah bila aku tak ada kelas pun, anak-anak aku akan tinggal di rumah opahnya dan kadang-kadang bermalam. Waktu-waktu begitu amat precious buat aku untuk siapkan assignment, study grup ataupun study TANPA perlu rasa risau pasal anak-anak. Kadang-kadang tu aku dan suami ambik kesempatan pulak pegi tengok wayang time anak-anak tak ada huhhhuuh…. Sorry mak!! Ada sekali dua jer pegi tu pun pasal tension and anak mak yang ajak. Nampaknya semester ini , semua itu hanya tinggal kenangan. Suami kena full responsible utk jaga anak2 tatkala aku ke kelas. Tapi sebenarnya hatiku lebih lapang jika mak yang jaga berbanding dengan suami sendiri. Mana tidaknya, Haikal dan Naufal dah naik lemak sebab dimanja oleh opah. Kalau tidur dengan opah pun berebut-rebut . Si adik nak opah gosok dan garu belakang sebelum tidur , Si abang pulak nak opahnya manjakan dia lagi walapun dia tahu dia dah Darjah 3 sensitif bila opah tumpukan pada si adik. Huhuuhu. Semua itu hanya tinggal kenangan!!

Nampaknya plan untuk aku genggam segulung master bersama-sama dengan mak tidak kesampaian rupanya. Allah SWT lebih sayangkan mak dari kami dan cucu-cucu mak dua orang tu… Hari ini adalah titik permulaan bagi saya, anak-anak mak dan cucu-cucu mak memulakan hidup tanpa sokongan mak...
Ya Allah SWT permudahkanlah urusan kami walapun tanpa bantuan dan sokongan mak di sisi.. Amin!! AlFatihah!
